i have so many things i want to say about my trip and i cannot even begin.
so let me share my favourite pictures.

but we all know pictures never do the slightest justice to any place.
its all up here, in my memory. oh yes tantalise the oh sweet rememberance!
and oh the delights of travelling, the journey in itself
now and in the future..

some random french tourists on the staten ferry

manhattan at sunset

ok i had to put in the cliche times square shot too, oh not who would believe i'm in new york!

brooklyn bridge.
[i lost a few extremely nice photos here because of sizing and rotating disfunctions of the computer, SO PISSED OFF. ARGH)

onward to washington dc!
for some unexplainable reason, i like trees without their leaves more than with them on.
oh yes, i suppose u can say i like trees in winter

look ma i'm here at the capitol!

i do not actually know why i'm so drawn to this house,
maybe its the contrast of the peeling walls of paint and its immaculate, well manicured garden.
its intriguing to me, to say the least.
as i walk past i was wondering what kind of people lived in there, what kindna lives they led and whether they had a poodle that was as immaculately taken care of as well. so random are the thoughts of a passer by.

union station. (author's note: a friggin train station!)

the words of a child that evoked sympathy and an overwhelming sense of loss.
i can only imagine what he went through
RIP

when will we ever learn that,

Que La Paz Prevalezca En La Tierra.

on a separate note: ¿Mi amor,qué tal? ¡Te extraño!
