what’s better than a night of cocktails, great music, easy conversation and beautiful people dancing?
it was really cool seeing everyone all frocked up for the event,
guys in their suits, ladies in fancy dresses and extra effort for makeup and hair.
it was an eye opener, seeing everyone in a totally different light. simply gorgeous.
last night’s cocktail party sure surpassed my expectations,
and thanks to sam, I didn’t miss out on a great night out in town as well!
i had such a good time last night, damn bloody awesome.
came home nearly 4 and there were still people, who didn’t go out to town, awake and playing guitars and singing, a nice round up for the evening. beautiful.
ok so it MIGHT be attributed to the fact that I was very tipsy,
[putting all blame on the organisers who put the equivalent of 3 standard drinks in each cocktail!!] but nonetheless, a fun night filled with friends and dancing.
luckily for me, there were friends who were constantly around kindna looking after me.
well, to be honest, we were looking after each other in our own semi drunk states.
now if every night’s out is going to be like that,
i’d say, count me in… every single time.
